Well, #2 in the "Why I Fight" series.
I figure Katara fights to protect what friends and family she has left, to make sure no other child loses a mother to Fire Nation's quest to dominate. Thus, Aang, Sokka, and her mum is in this pic.
As for the outfit, it's definitely a Fire Nation design, with Water Tribe colors. Sorry no Zutara inferred here. I totally loved the fire nation design, but I also like Water Tribe coloring, so why not both?
The ball o' high speed spinning water came out a little weak, but I'm not totally disappointed, after all, water is a mostly clear element. I have to remember to use a slightly darker color me and the scanner can agree on.
Big thanks to fellow Deviant, Katara (aka
) for the suggesting I try something a little different for the outfit! I'll probably do that with the next pic as well! No promises, but we'll see what happens.
